Today we launched Read and Unread statuses on mail and an Unread View in the Mailroom section. Read and Unread statuses and the Unread View work in a similar way to an email inbox, with a few key differences around how mail is marked as unread.
Mail is marked as unread when:
Mail is marked as read when
What this means in practice is that anytime mail is received, or a new internal document scan is ready to view, you’ll be able to go to the Unread View of the dashboard to quickly view new mail.
To date, it’s been the responsibility of users to understand whether or not they’ve viewed and handled a piece of mail — moving forward, that will no longer be the case.
